Wild is truly the best of both worlds. He is an exceptional working dog, competed coast to coast, multiple national championships, and the only US dog to podium at both Mondioring and IGP nationals. He is also a wonderful friend and house dog, hasn’t been crated in the house since he was 2 years old, and is perfectly content to relax and chill all day provided his needs are met. Wild is a compact, smaller male, at just 62 pounds, but as his old training helper used to say “dynamite comes in small packages”. In his bitesport years, Wild was the exact same dog everywhere he went, and I always knew I had a dog who was going to bring a fight.

Wild was a fantastic gripping dog from 7 weeks old, and was never a dog we had to work to build grips. He channels very well between prey and aggression, and is a dog who is happy to engage civilly with a threat. He has extremely high food drive, and is a very strong play dog who loves to push and play with his handler (or anybody who will hold his ball). He is a dog who can go from putting up a big performance on the field, to sitting on the sidelines entertaining somebody’s child.

As a sire, in just two litters, only one of which is at competing age, Wild has produced two Mondioring nationals podium dogs (one of whom also competed at FMBB World Championship), multiple live find SAR dogs, and a national level AKC obedience dog.
